How to Increase Your Revenue

It can be a tricky question with many factors to consider. No two businesses are the same, which is why it can be difficult to pinpoint an answer just by a Google search.

Basically, there are 4 ways to increase revenue:

โžก๏ธ Increase the number of customers

โžก๏ธ Increase the average transaction size

โžก๏ธ Increase the frequency of transactions

โžก๏ธ Increase the prices of items within the transaction

But it is how you approach the changes that make a difference over time. Are you marketing yourself and your skills in a way that justifiably showcases the quality of your work? If so, then considering raising your unit prices may not be the worse case scenario (as long as your communication plan is solidโ—)

If you are an established small business, focus on your current customers. It is 5 to 25 times less expensive to retain customers than it is to market to new ones. If you can, throw in a freebie for bigger orders or a personalized thank you note to first-time customers. Most people trust recommendations from friends, so emphasizing that you care about those who shop with you can go a long way โค๏ธ

With Thanksgiving and Black Friday right around the corner, it is the perfect time to give thanks to those who have given you a chance at success. You can pair your holiday deals with a hashtag campaign and encourage customers to take pictures with their items from your store. Then, you have content, including testimonials, with little effort on your end ๐Ÿ†
