Myth or Fact: Engagement is Important for Your Business's Growth

Is engagement important for your business’s growth? 🤔

Small business owner should be taking time to comment and respond to social media posts, because it helps development a relationship with current (and potential customers).

Setting apart around 30 minutes per day to engage with others is a crucial part of any marketing plan. Personally, I spend about 15 minutes in the morning hours and 15 minutes in the afternoon/evening, to make sure that I am keeping up.

(PLUS - most of the time, I do this from the comfort of the couch 🛋)

Ways to engage with other accounts including, but not limited to:

✨ Tagging collaborators in your post or comment section

✨ Authentically commenting on their posts. This is more than just a “Looking good!” Ask questions, answer questions they posed in their caption, show that you really care. Also, imagine if someone did that for your post… that would feel pretty encouraging, right?

✨ Reply to comments on your posts. Keep them commenting!

Not only does engagement boost your posts with the algorithm, it creates community impact in reminding others that the internet is not just a bunch of bots. During these unprecedented times, we need to lift each other up 🏋🏼‍♀️
