Running your own social media can be daunting as a business owner. Especially when the technology is forever changing. The Winfield Creative is here to help!
Think about the times you pick up your phone. When you wake up, lunchtime, and then periodically until bedtime. This is the same for most people’s routines and your posting schedule should match that.
According to Sprout Social, the most effective times to post on Facebook are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Ironically, the most effective times to post on Instagram are Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. and then Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It is when viewers are the most engaged and interactive on their profiles. If your business is located on the East Coast, but the majority of your customers are on the West Coast, make sure you account for the time change.
After establishing a time that works with your schedule, keep your posting consistent. By scheduling your posts, it gives you a chance to batch the content creation time and leave you to do other job tasks.
Business owners should spend between 6-10 hours weekly focusing on their social media strategy. In the end, it is an organic, often free, way to connect with potential consumers. It also keeps your recurring customers informed and gives you a chance to continue the relationship.
At The Winfield Creative, we understand that your time is precious. You opened your business because you wanted to provide a product or service to others. That is why we want to help you with your social media strategy so you can focus on what is more important - making customers smile.
